We will be celebrating our 6th & 7th Grade Spiritual Emphasis Days on Monday and Tuesday, October 30th and 31st. Spiritual Emphasis Days are set aside, apart from the daily routine, to focus on our relationship with God and our relationships within our school community. This year’s theme for those days is Loving God-Loving People: How the Healer Can Heal Our Hearts So We Can Bring Healing to Others. Ben Evenson, graduate of Cedarville University and youth pastor at Life Center will be our guest speaker.
The focus of the two days will be to recognize: how we have been hurt by the words and actions of others; how we have potentially hurt others by our words and actions; how we can glorify God by working through relationship conflicts in a Biblical, God-honoring manner; and how we can work together as a community of students and teachers to bring healing and life to those we come in contact with.
Our Spiritual Emphasis Days will be a non-uniform dress day for the 6th & 7th Graders. Please review the non-uniform dress policy in the Handbook. Please also keep in mind that the students will be (weather permitting) outside for team building activities on Monday and traveling to Mt Lou San on Tuesday. The cost for the trip is $15.
