Leadership Communication
is not an ordinary "speech course". The purpose of
Leadership Communication
is to help students develop the strategies and the confidence to speak in order that they may fully carry out the Lord's purpose for their life. A foundational premise of this course is that God uses ordinary people to carry out extraordinary tasks. Therefore, students are encouraged to develop their speaking ability. Throughout this course, students will examine the lives of historical figures and will focus on important characteristics that assisted these leaders in being great communicators.

Principles and Practices of Christian Leadership
is a course designed to introduce students to the Biblical model of servant-leadership as demonstrated by Jesus during his ministry on earth. Students will explore various theories of leadership, motivation, communication, and consensus building. Students will also examine a variety of issues related to the area of personal leadership such as their God-given design, obtaining and being a mentor and dealing with overload. The course seeks to be both theoretical and practical while offering students opportunities to implement what they are learning.
