Mrs. Killian currently teaches music in all of the middle school and high school grades. She teaches 6th, 7th and 8th grade classroom music, and middle school electives in chorus and handbells. In the high school, she teaches music theory and composition, music history and appreciation, and electives in choir and handbells. This year, she is excited to offer an introduction to drama class for high school students, and she will continue to be the music director for the upcoming spring musical. Mrs. Killian is also the advisor for the high school worship team.
Mrs. Killian is a graduate of Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey, graduating with a Bachelor of Music Education Degree which includes K - 12 plus special education. She is certified through ACSI and is a member of the Music Educators National Conference as well as the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association. She has taught piano, voice, flute, and theory and composition lessons from a private music studio for 24 years. During that time, Mrs. Killian has also taught music in both public as well as private schools. Mrs. Killian has also been a member of the performing and traveling vocal octet called The Harmonies of Grace for 15 years. Her own musical compositions are sung at many of their performances.
Mrs. Killian is happily married to Douglas Killian and they have three children, Olivia, Gabe and Emma. They are active members at Locust Lane Mennonite Chapel.
