Jo Ellen holds an Elementary Education degree from Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana. This is Mrs. Bechtels sixth year at Harrisburg Christian School and she is currently teaching 5th grade. She is married to Steve Bechtel, the athletic director at HCS and they have two children, Ben (8th grade) and Katie (5th grade). She enjoys reading, taking walks with Steve, and watching Ben and Katie play sports.
