After graduating from Penn State University in 1991 with a BS in Secondary Education Communications/Speech Communications and a minor in Spanish, Jacqueline taught English 8, Journalism, and Spanish I-IV at Juniata Valley High School in Alexandria, PA while completing the credits for Instructional II Certification and a Spanish Certification through Lock Haven University. Jacqueline left classroom teaching in 1996 after the birth of her first son and spent the next decade houseparenting at Milton Hershey School (1996-2002), homeschooling (2004-2006), and being a stay-at-home mom (1996-2006). Jacqueline re-entered the classroom to teach Spanish II at Hershey High School for the 2006-2007 school year before God opened the door for ministry at HCS in 2007. She loves being mom to her two sons, Aidan (6th grade) and Cullen (4th grade), who currently attend HCS. When she used to have free time ;), Jacqueline enjoyed reading, scrapbooking, dancing (primarily Irish step, Ceili, and Liturgical), and freelance writing. She has a heart for local ministry to the Hispanic community and for national/international ministry and travel, most recently serving on a missions trip to Guatemala. She feels blessed to be part of the HCS community.
