Janell Holmes

After a standout season as a freshman center back, Janell Holmes took the important role of center link for her sophomore season replacing Nicole Latsha. Holmes did not disappoint and dominated the midfield in every CCAC contest as well as many non-conference opponents. In addition to controlling play in the midfield, Holmes became a scoring threat with five goals in October including the only goal in the Lady Knights district play-in game versus Susquehannock. "We had total confidence in Janell to take over the role as center link from Nikki," said Coach Debbie Bassoff. "Her outstanding stickwork and poise under pressure made her clearly the best link in the league. She was a major reason why we repeated as CCAC champions."

Andrew Bair

"Andrew Bair is great to have as part of the Knights Boys Soccer program," said Head Boys Varsity Soccer Coach Greg Kimmel. "He enjoys the game and brings a 'woop' to almost every turn he makes on the pitch. His vision on the field has helped our hold our back 4 together. He’s wonderful to have as part of the leadership of the team as he truly wants to improve and help others on his team improve as well. Andrews’ abilities afforded him the opportunity to go forward and even tally a few goals for the Knights this year. On the other side he’s also the only player this year to take a shot on his own goal during the match." Coach Kimmel went on to say, "I’m sure he was just making sure our keeper was still in the game. I look forward to seeing Andrew continue to develop and see how he impacts his future teammates and opposition on the pitch."
